This policy explains what data DogFight UAE collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights over it.
Who we are
Our website address is https://dogfight.ae. The site is managed and operated by TCPGuard.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to assist spam detection.
An anonymised string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) — visitors can extract and download that location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email and website in cookies — purely for convenience so you don’t refill the form next time. These last one year.
Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to test whether your browser accepts cookies; it contains no personal data and is discarded when you close the browser.
When you log in we set additional cookies to remember your login and screen-display choices. Login cookies last 2 days; screen-option cookies last a year. With “Remember Me” your login persists 2 weeks. Logging out removes them.
Editing or publishing an article saves an extra cookie storing the post ID you edited — no personal data, expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (videos, images, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website directly.
These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including tracking it if you are logged into their service.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We do not sell or share customer data with third parties for marketing.
How long we retain your data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognise and auto-approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in moderation.
For registered users we store the personal information in your user profile. You can see, edit or delete it at any time (your username cannot be changed). Site administrators can also see and edit that information.
Order data is retained per UAE accounting requirements (typically 5 years) for tax and audit purposes.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold — except data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons (e.g. order records under tax law).

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.

To delete your account, email [email protected] from the same address registered on the site so we can verify identity.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a revised “last updated” notice at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
